Amongst the most significant immediate and urgent needs in the Southern African region must be the need to build upon certain already existing models of leadership, and to develop new leadership skills and styles as we move into the new millenium.

We will be launching a new facilitated Masters of Commerce in Leadership Studies by research in 2011. We shall support a maximum of 10 high-calibre research students. The programme may be completed in a period of two years part-time. The entrance requirement is an appropriate four year degree at honours level equivalent. Relevant working experience will be advantageous.Prospective students (who may originate from any disciplinary background) will undergo a rigorous process of selection.
This programme will suit you if you are committed to:
1) rigorous research in an applied context
2) high-intensity learning that stretches you intellectually and practically
3) contributing to knowledge in the field of leadership and cognate areas in Africa and globally
4) making a positive difference to organisations, communities or society,
Programme Format:
Successful students will be required to attend two residential blocks per semester as indicted below. Each residential block may range from 2 to 5 days.
